Job summary

OWL Services LLC in Florida seeks a Petroleum Construction Lead to guide installation, replacement, and modification of underground and aboveground storage tanks and associated piping. This is a hands-on, field leadership role with frequent travel and overnight stays.

You will supervise field crews, read plans, ensure safety and quality, coordinate with project managers and inspectors, and represent the company professionally on site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in petroleum construction or related field.
• Experience installing USTs and ASTs and piping systems.
• Ability to read construction plans, civil drawings, site plans, and equipment details.
• Willingness to travel frequently and stay overnight/out-of-town.
• Strong safety mindset and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform installation of USTs, ASTs, fuel piping, and related equipment.
• Supervise field crews during petroleum construction activities.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and site plans.
• Verify elevations, grades, and piping elevations for accurate layouts.
• Coordinate daily activities with project managers, contractors, inspectors, and trades.
• Ensure work complies with plans, specifications, and safety requirements.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean jobsite; complete daily documentation.
• Mentor less-experienced technicians and represent the company professionally.
