Job summary

OWL Services seeks a Petroleum Construction Lead to head field installation activities for underground and aboveground storage tanks and fuel piping systems. The role requires leading crews, reading plans, and coordinating with project managers to meet safety and quality standards.

Travel and overnight work are common, with a focus on safe, efficient execution of petroleum construction projects across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in petroleum construction or fuel systems.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and civil/site drawings.
• Proven leadership of field crews on construction projects.
• Valid driver’s license with willingness to travel.
• Strong knowledge of safety practices and OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform installation of USTs, ASTs, fuel piping, and related petroleum equipment.
• Supervise field crews and coordinate daily activities with project managers and subcontractors.
• Read plans and ensure elevations, grades, and piping align with specifications.
• Monitor safety, quality, and compliance with company standards and OSHA rules.
• Mentor less-experienced technicians and document site conditions daily.
