Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Sr. Site Manager to provide strategic leadership for multi-site shop and field operations, overseeing fabrication, assembly, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electromechanical equipment.

You will coordinate with customers, contractors, and engineers, manage crews, schedules and budgets, and promote safety across sites. This role is highly field-based with up to 90% travel, based in Plymouth, MN, and is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering a comprehensive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Experience directing multi-site operations on large-scale projects.
• OSHA 30 certification and safety leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead shop and multi-site field operations involving fabrication, assembly, delivery, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electromechanical equipment.
• Lead equipment installation and commissioning activities across multiple job sites, ensuring alignment with project specs and schedules.
• Plan and manage staffing, resources, schedules, budgets, and milestones to ensure safety, timeliness and budget adherence.
• Set up and manage shop, warehouse, and field offices, including scheduling and day-to-day operations.
• Supervise, motivate, coach, and mentor crews including union laborers, subcontractors, and internal engineers.
• Coordinate daily site activities, address issues, and enforce safety and quality standards.
