Job summary

Hilcorp Energy Company seeks an experienced field supervisor to oversee all field operations, maintenance and spare parts inventory across assigned areas. You will monitor production records and testing of wells and compressors, supervise field operators and contractors, and support production accounting allocations.

The role requires a minimum of ten years in oil and gas facilities, mechanical proficiency, and the ability to manage workloads, schedules and safety standards in a remote field

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of experience in operation of oil and gas production facilities.
• Ability to work a 14 day on / 14 day off, 12 hour shift schedule.
• Mastery of mechanical skills and problem-solving.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to organize and present information.
• Self-starter with leadership, teamwork and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily field production by area and field operators.
• Reviews and maintains well reports, production records and invoices.
• Maintains and supervises spare parts inventory and production automation systems.
• Oversees wellhead work and station hookups; supports field crews and contractors.
• Plans workloads and staff assignments; trains, motivates, evaluates staff; directs changes as needed.
• Provides leadership for short and long-range operations studies and recommendations.
• May work across multiple fields and travel to remote locations as required.
