Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals – the fastest growing rental business in North America – is seeking a Mechanic. This role performs preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime, covering a fleet that includes aerial work platforms, generators, pumps and HVAC systems.

You will work on a variety of makes and models in a safety-focused environment. 3-5 years of mechanic experience with diesel/heavy equipment is preferred; high school diploma or GED required; bilingual ability

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 to 5 years of mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment preferred.
• Trade training or equivalent helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Diagnose issues and repair equipment.
• Follow safety procedures to minimize downtime.
• Work on a variety of makes and models in a fast-paced environment.
