Job summary

Howard Energy Partners in Texas seeks an experienced Mechanic III to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical equipment to ensure safe and productive performance. You will maintain pumps, engines, motors, and compressors, participate in safety reviews, and respond to emergencies.

The role requires at least 5 years of mechanical experience, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and willingness to work overtime and travel to remote sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years mechanical experience required.
• Experience with reciprocating engines and associated components.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to take callouts and work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical equipment.
• Maintain centrifugal pumps, electric motors, engines, compressors, valves, and related components.
• Assist with replacement and startup of pumps, motors, valves, and other equipment.
• Maintain logs/records to comply with company and regulatory standards.
• Respond to emergencies as part of the area emergency response team.
• Participate in safety training and process safety reviews.
