Job summary

Energy Transfer in Texas is seeking a field technician to repair and maintain pipelines, equipment and facilities, ensuring daily operations run safely and efficiently.

You will inspect and service compressor and pump stations, interpret drawings, maintain records, and support on-call coverage while following OSHA, DOT and EPA requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work well in a group and independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and operate station equipment to meet throughput requirements and safety standards.
• Plan and coordinate work with teams to ensure safe, timely completion.
• Provide budgetary information, schedule outages, and maintain inventory.
• Interpret drawings and OEM manuals to perform assigned work.
• Maintain equipment records and required documentation per regulations.
• Provide training and leadership to develop work crews as needed.
• Follow OSHA/DOT/EPA requirements and safe work procedures.
• Participate in on-call coverage and safety programs.
