Job summary

ESP Associates, Inc. is seeking a Materials Testing Senior Engineering Technician to perform field testing of construction-related materials including soils, concrete, grout/masonry, and asphalt. This role demands effective communication skills and a thorough understanding of project specifications.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and ideally three years of relevant experience. The position offers competitive compensation along with extensive benefits, including a sign-on bonus, 401(k) match, and health insurance options.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in construction testing of soil, concrete, masonry and/or asphalt materials preferred.
• ACI Field Grade I Certification preferred.
• Nuclear Density Gauge Safety Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced field tests in accordance with ASTM, ACI, AASHTO, DOT or other standards.
• Review and understand project related drawings and specifications.
• Report observations and test results through ESP’s field data collection software.
