Job summary

U.S. Engineering Innovations is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to coordinate field operations for mechanical construction projects, oversee labor, and ensure timely completion within budget.

The role requires planning, scheduling, and directing crews, with a focus on safety, quality, and collaboration with project managers, vendors, and clients. Travel to job sites is expected as part of the leadership duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience on mechanical construction projects.
• Field experience in construction management, mechanical systems, or related discipline preferred.
• OSHA certification and familiarity with workplace safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in planning, scheduling, and overseeing mechanical construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate smooth operations.
• Supervise field crews, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
• Monitor timelines and budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues related to mechanical construction.
• Maintain detailed project documentation and progress reports.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, and stakeholders to meet project objectives.
• Enforce company policies and safety protocols.
