Job summary

ht h companies is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to oversee daily mechanical construction activities at the work site, including scheduling workers, delivery of equipment and materials, and tracking progress. The role requires reading prints, performing takeoffs for piping and steel, and leading a team to install, maintain and repair systems.

The ideal candidate will manage foremen, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with field crews across weather conditions to keep production

Qualifications

• Supervise daily pipe fitting, welding and light mechanical/rigging activities.
• Ability to read prints and do take offs for piping, steel and civil jobs.
• Excellent communication and safety compliance in a field setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess workforce, material, tool, and equipment needs to support the project.
• Analyze productivity trends and adjust work to optimize production.
• Review cost reports and projections to manage job costs within budget.
• Enforce jobsite safety per OSHA and company program.
• Lay out projects and execute efficiently; manage foremen in the field.
