Job summary

EBA Engineering, Inc. is seeking Construction Inspectors to join our Anne Arundel County pavement team in Maryland. You will conduct thorough inspections of roadways, bridges, and facilities to ensure adherence to design specs and safety standards.

Responsibilities include documenting deviations, reviewing plans, and maintaining accurate inspection records. Proficiency with Fulcrum or similar tools is expected. Equal opportunity employer, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• 3–10 years of experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• MD SHA Temporary Traffic Control Manager; MARTCP Soils & Asphalt Field Testing Technician certifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction sites to verify adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
• Document deviations and report issues found during inspections.
• Coordinate with senior inspectors and project managers to confirm compliance with safety regulations and project requirements.
• Review construction plans, special provisions, and technical documents.
• Maintain inspection records and reports for compliance and reporting purposes.
• Learn and apply Fulcrum and other inspection software.
• Participate in team meetings and safety briefings to foster a safe, collaborative work environment.
• Communicate effectively with contractors and project stakeholders to address concerns.
