Job summary

Urban Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Construction Inspector to supervise bridge and roadway construction projects in Maryland. You will manage contractor performance to ensure quality, stay within budget, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities include submittal reviews, document control, and site inspections of structural steel, masonry, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. A civil/construction engineering background and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Civil or Construction Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' experience.
• Preferred certifications include: Soils and Aggregates, Work Zone Safety, OSHA 10, Erosion and Sediment Control.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Monitor adherence to contract documents.
• Prepare Inspector Daily Reports.
• Perform construction inspection tasks for items including: Structural steel, Masonry, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing.
