Job summary

HDR is seeking a Fuels Inspector to join our Environmental, Operations and Construction team in Guam. The role involves inspecting electrical, mechanical/HVAC and site civil works, reading drawings, and mentoring junior field staff.

You will collaborate with project managers and ensure observations are documented as the work progresses. We value our employee-owned culture, require at least 5 years of inspection experience, a high school diploma, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent, with 8 years of relevant inspection experience as substitute option.
• Minimum of 5 years of construction inspection experience.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to HDR's employee-owned culture and safety policies.
• Sponsorship (visa) for US employment is not available.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate familiarity with construction materials, methods and processes for buildings and facilities.
• Conduct inspection of electrical, mechanical/HVAC and site civil.
• Mentor junior field staff and provide supervision as needed.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and other field representatives.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications; identify discrepancies.
• Document observations of construction progress.
• Serve as senior inspector on projects as needed.
• Perform other duties as needed.
