Job summary
Arcadis is seeking a Senior Resident Engineer with 10+ years of experience to join our construction management team on projects in NYC and the Lower Hudson Valley. You will apply your municipal infrastructure expertise to successfully execute capital improvement programs involving water, sewer, and treatment facilities.
You will lead field teams, review plans, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and manage contractor oversight and reporting.
Qualifications
- 10 years' Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer experience.
- BS in Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent work experience.
- Professional Engineer license in New York.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day construction oversight and inspection efforts.
- Coordinate with design staff to respond to RFIs and review shop drawings.
- Review construction plans for constructability and manage field office records and payments.
- Ensure delivery of daily inspection reports and regulatory compliance.
