Job summary

Rudolph & Sletten is seeking a Senior Field Engineer to lead field operations on active California projects. You will ensure adherence to plans and specifications, implement quality control measures, and report daily progress to the Project Manager.

This role requires at least five years in construction management, experience with large commercial projects, and strong ability to read drawings, coordinate with subcontractors, and maintain safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management required.
• Minimum five years in field as an entry-level Project Engineer on large commercial projects.
• Experience with healthcare, higher education, corporate campuses is desired.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Ensure plans and specifications are followed with quality control measures.
• Review submittals, mock-ups, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare RFIs and field design changes.
• Maintain safety inspections and OSHA compliance.
• Document status reports and punch lists.
• Prioritize multiple projects and communicate with project team.
