Job summary

Willdan Energy Solutions is seeking a Senior Field/Sales Engineer to lead energy assessments, develop near- and long-term energy-saving solutions, and produce clear ROM cost estimates. You will manage field inspections, collaborate with engineers, and support program goals with innovative yet feasible approaches.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in pumps, HVAC, lighting, and building automation, with experience in public agencies and energy project consulting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6–8+ years in energy efficiency, distributed energy resources, and/or facilities energy management.
• Experience leading field energy assessments and data collection including pumps, HVAC, lighting, and water heating.
• Experience with utility programs and regional energy networks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field engineering staff to meet service cycle times.
• Lead field assessments and ROM cost/energy savings estimates for proposals.
• Coordinate client meetings and ensure value within budgets.
• Develop and communicate energy and sustainability planning reports.
