Job summary

RTX in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Senior Onsite Centralized Field Engineering (CFE) Engineer to support Advanced Sensor Programs (ASP). You will join a field team providing long-term technical field support for complex radar systems, including deployment overseas and frequent travel.

The role requires a Top Secret clearance, UNIX proficiency, and ability to work outdoors. Expect travel CONUS up to 40 days per year and two 75-day overseas deployments, with onsite duties in Jacksonville.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Active and transferable Top Secret DoD clearance is required before start.
• Experience in repair and maintenance of military electro-mechanical systems.
• Experience in system integration, logistics processes, and logistics procedures.
• Ability to work outdoors in challenging environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and sustain the sensor system.
• Conduct daily reviews with customers.
• Perform administrative tasks essential for system maintenance, including planning, coordination, task monitoring, shipping, receiving, packaging, and inventory management.
• Provide onsite technical support to customers when required.
• Communicate technical information effectively in writing and verbally.
• Collaborate with offsite engineering teams to troubleshoot and perform repairs.
• Lift, bend, and move items weighing over 40 lbs.
