Job summary

HireTalent - Staffing & Recruiting Firm seeks an on-site Senior Field Engineer to review submittals, shop drawings, specs and RFIs, coordinating contractors and equipment vendors through testing, delivery, install and commissioning.

You will run progress inspections, quality confirmations, coordinate outages, and collaborate with facilities and manufacturing shops, reporting field status to Project Managers. Requires 5–10 years total exp. in industrial design and 2+ years in construction mgmt.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years total experience; 5+ in architectural/civil/structural design.
• 2+ years construction management.
• Automotive or heavy industrial manufacturing facility background (engine, transmission, vehicle).
• Deep working knowledge of IBC, NEC, NESC, NFPA, ASME, ASHRAE, FM + OSHA / LOTO / arc flash.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site SME reviewing submittals, shop drawings, specs and contractor RFIs.
• Coordinate contractors and equipment vendors through factory testing, delivery, install and commissioning.
• Run progress inspections, quality confirmations, weekly coordination meetings and planned utility outages.
• Coordinate weekend and plant-shutdown work with facilities and manufacturing shops.
• Report field engineering status and schedule health to Project Managers.
