Teleport is looking for a hands-on technical partner to work with large customers. You will design how the product fits each customer environment, deploy and configure it, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
The role requires years of customer-facing engineering, plus strong Linux, cloud, Kubernetes, SSH, PKI, SSO and RBAC skills. You will also run trainings and lead rollout plans across multiple accounts.
This role asks for a hands on technical partner for large customers, someone who designs how the product fits a customer environment, deploys and configures it, and troubleshoots problems as they come up. A strong candidate brings years of customer facing engineering work plus solid Linux, cloud, Kubernetes and security fundamentals like SSH, PKI, single sign on and role based access. The job also needs someone who can run training, lead rollout plans and juggle several accounts at once.
The product gives identities to machines, workloads and AI agents, so the engineer works on the access layer that lets automated systems act safely. Much of the routine setup and documentation can be sped up with AI tools, but reading a customer environment, judging risk and debugging a live issue still depend on human skill. The role stays human at the point where trust decisions and customer relationships are made.
Working here builds familiarity with identity and access for non human actors, which is a growing area as more AI agents touch infrastructure. A candidate can prepare by learning how cryptographic identity, policy and access controls apply to automated workloads, and by practicing troubleshooting in cloud and Kubernetes setups. Hands on proof of securing machine identities matters more than theory.
