Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering technology, drafting/design, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in electric distribution design or related utility work.
• Advanced understanding of electric distribution systems, NESC requirements and RUS design standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform field assessments and collect data for line extensions and upgrades.
• Design and draft distribution layouts meeting standards and safety regulations.
• Prepare detailed construction packages including staking sheets and drawings.
• Coordinate with internal teams and field crews to resolve issues.
• Ensure work adheres to safety policies and applicable regulations.
• Maintain records and update design systems with project data.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement.
