Job summary

Qualifications

• Active Florida PSM credentials; or SIT eligible with 1 year to certification.
• Minimum 5 years of managing/surveying FDOT projects.
• 2-year Geomatics/Surveying degree or 4-year Engineering degree from accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design surveys and R/W maps per FDOT scope.
• Prepare FDOT reports to support field surveys.
• Supervise survey technicians on surveys and maps.
• Perform survey calculations and prepare maps and right-of-way maps.
• Coordinate project estimates and schedules.
• Mentor field and office staff; lead FDOT survey projects.
• Communicate with clients and agency personnel.
• Ensure QC before review by project manager.
