Job summary

Southeasternsurveying seeks an experienced FDOT Project Manager in Orlando to lead and direct FDOT projects from scoping through reporting. You will coordinate field and office data, mentor staff, and ensure standards compliance across MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D workflows.

The role demands deep FDOT project experience, strong communication, and the ability to deliver on schedule in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of managing FDOT projects.
• Experience with MicroStation, Geopak, and Open Roads software platforms with FDOT.
• Proficient in MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
• Experience using Deltek VantagePoint or similar for coordinating multiple disciplines.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other business software.
• Previous experience providing training/seminars/support to others.
• Available to work necessary hours to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate survey data from field crews and office teams.
• Develop FDOT drafting processes and standards within the survey department.
• Follow FDOT and company standards, and align with management directions.
• Provide training and guidance to FDOT Survey and Mapping staff.
• Perform quality control on deliverables and suggest improvements.
• Manage project drawing and model files per standards.
• Support technicians in project delivery and troubleshoot issues.
• Mentor office staff and FDOT technicians; plan and organize workload.
• Communicate effectively with staff and clients; meet deadlines.
