Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services seeks a Construction Superintendent to oversee field construction activities across electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and finishes. Based at Kansas City Airport, you will coordinate subcontractors, review drawings, and maintain schedules to meet safety and quality standards.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years as a lead superintendent on commercial, educational, or government projects, with strong leadership and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Lead Superintendent with 10+ years on commercial, educational, and/or government projects.
• Stable work history with proven leadership on interior and exterior projects.
• Broad knowledge of multiple trades and general construction practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate field construction across multiple trades to ensure safe, timely, and quality project execution.
• Review drawings and assist in scope of work development.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and ensure subcontractor adherence to timelines.
• Lead and attend weekly client progress meetings.
• Coordinate subcontractor schedules and resolve on-site conflicts.
• Submit and track material submittals and shop drawings.
• Perform field layout and monitor construction progress.
• Review subcontractor performance for safety and quality.
