Job summary

Hughes Marino in Columbus, OH is seeking a Senior Field Construction Manager with a strong MEP focus to lead on-site oversight for a high-profile defense technology client. You will act as the owner's representative, coordinating with GCs, subs, design teams, AHJs, and the client to protect schedule, budget, and quality.

This role demands hands-on leadership, field presence most of the time, and a track record in complex industrial projects. Relocation support may be available.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of field construction management experience.
• Experience as owner's representative or third-party CM.
• Strong ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• MEP fluency across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and controls.
• Experience in occupied facilities and site logistics.

Responsibilities

• On-site field oversight for multiple concurrent projects.
• Lead schedule validation and coordination with GC and subs.
• Coordinate MEP shutdowns, tie-ins, and temporary power.
• Serve as primary client interface in field operations.
• Ensure QA/QC, punch walks, inspections, and closeout deliverables.
• Produce daily field reports and maintain RFIs and logs.
