Job summary

Hughes Marino is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager for our Baltimore team, serving as the owner's representative on high-visibility defense technology projects. You will lead the client's interests across programming, design, and construction through close collaboration with architects, engineers, and GC teams.

The role emphasizes ownership of budgets, schedules, and milestones, mentorship of junior staff, and direct engagement with C-suite stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of construction project management experience.
• Experience as owner's rep / third-party PM / client-side PM.
• Design-Build experience strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage external vendors and design teams while leading internal staff.
• Proficient in Bluebeam, Excel, Word, and Project.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle owner's rep / third-party PM for multiple concurrent projects from programming through construction completion and closeout.
• Manage day-to-day complex, mission-critical projects with executive stakeholders.
• Develop and steward budgets, schedules, and client-directed milestones.
• Assemble, procure, and lead full project teams on the client's behalf.
• Mentor and manage up to two internal Hughes Marino PMs or project engineers.
• Review change orders, invoicing oversight, TI allowance reimbursement, and project closeout from the owner's perspective.
• Review lease and Work Letter provisions with brokerage team.
• Collaborate with Hughes Marino advisors and client stakeholders as requirements evolve.
