Job summary

Evergreen Innovation Group LLC in Durham, NC is seeking a seasoned Superintendent to lead field operations, ensuring safe, on-time delivery of projects and adherence to quality standards. You will guide field teams and trade partners, align with project objectives and client expectations, and integrate safety and efficiency into daily site activities.

The role requires 7 years in field engineering or construction management, with 1–2 years in a leadership capacity and OSHA-based certifications.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in construction management, engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
• 7 years of experience in field engineering, construction management, or related field is required.
• 1–2 years of experience in a managerial capacity is preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification preferred; OSHA 30-Hour within 6 months of hire required.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• OSHA 510 or OSHA 500 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads, manages, and develops a team of field personnel to achieve high performance.
• Oversees all on-site construction activities for safety, quality, and schedule.
• Coordinates with project managers, self-perform team, subcontractors, and suppliers to schedule resources and manage costs.
• Ensures compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Reviews daily field documentation, safety logs, and planning documents; maintains accurate reporting.
• Communicates project status, risks, and opportunities to leadership and stakeholders.
