Job summary

International Contractors, Inc. seeks a General Field Superintendent to lead, coach, and evaluate a team of Superintendents and field Project Engineers.

You will champion safety, drive performance, and build a culture of ownership and accountability across field operations. Key focus areas include leadership development, on-site coaching, project collaboration, and ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field.
• Ten years+ of proven construction supervision experience on commercial projects.
• OSHA 30 Hour Certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, develop, and evaluate direct reports and project teams.
• Provide field leadership across projects and coach site teams.
• Coach field staff on safety, quality, and processes (e.g., Procore).
• Assist in staffing, onboarding, and career development planning.
• Engage with clients and design professionals to support project success.
• Travel to project sites across the United States as needed.
