Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Project Construction Engineer to support a major water utility in southern Nevada. The role involves field engineering, overseeing plans, schedules, and construction methods, with relocation to site locations as needed.

You will supervise construction disciplines, manage inspectors, monitor progress, and coordinate with management to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with drawings and specs. A strong lead capability and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction field with 8+ years field construction experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of engineering and construction processes and industry practices.
• Excellent written and oral communication; able to lead on projects and coordinate teams.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex field assignments coordinating all technical aspects of construction.
• Ensures quality assurance and conformance to plans, specs, and standards.
• Monitors schedules, coordinates subcontractors, and reports progress.
• Interfacing with client and upper management; provide guidance to field personnel.
• Ensures safety practices on site and environmental considerations.
