Job summary

Parsons is seeking a motivated Field Engineer for our Water/Wastewater team in Los Gatos, CA. The role offers hands-on field experience and supports project documentation and coordination to ensure quality, safety, and compliance.

You will work with the Construction Team and Chief Inspector, performing in-field duties, updating logs, and contributing to progress reports while developing core engineering and inspection skills in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• At least three years of CM/office/field engineering or design of utility infrastructure construction projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent experience).
• At least three years of recent experience using CM software systems.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel), Bluebeam, and P6, with familiarity with construction documentation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support quality control by documenting non-conformances and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
• Collaborate and coordinate with other field inspectors and managers.
• Assist with tracking and updating logs for RFIs, NCRs, and other construction documentation.
• Be able to perform administrative duties under the direction of project management.
• Contribute to monthly progress reports, RFI reviews, As-built drawing reviews, equipment list coordination, QC documents, and meeting minutes under guidance from the Chief Inspector.
