Job summary

Crimsgroup seeks a Senior Compressor Mechanic to join our Midland, Texas field team. You will lead inspections, maintenance, and repair of natural gas compression equipment, diagnose complex issues, and mentor junior technicians to keep assets safe and productive.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of hands-on experience with compressors, engines, and control systems, and can operate in outdoor industrial settings with travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with natural gas compression equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the inspection, maintenance, overhaul, and repair of natural gas compressors and related equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Perform complex troubleshooting on engines, compressors, coolers, pumps, and control systems.
• Conduct regular preventative maintenance and document all work accurately.
• Support start-ups, shutdowns, and commissioning of compression units.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior mechanics and field technicians.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and HSE teams to maintain safe, efficient operations.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
