Job summary

Comcast is looking for a skilled field technician to troubleshoot and maintain video, CHSI and CDV services. You will climb poles, operate aerial lifts, and use cable locating tools to restore service while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Fifteen months cable telecommunications experience or similar.
• Knowledge of cable television products and services.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends, and on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and restore video, CHSI, and CDV services.
• Survey the plant and perform cable locating to prevent outages.
• Read general system layouts from blueprints and locate incidents.
• Climb poles, ladders and operate aerial lifts; work near power lines.
• Complete paperwork and communicate with customers on service details.
