Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience and certifications related to construction inspection or construction materials testing.
• MnDOT and/or ACI Certification; travel and on-site work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and laboratory tests according to prescribed procedures and standards.
• Collect soil and concrete samples; prepare and test samples; record data and prepare summary reports.
• Calibrate and maintain equipment; set up testing apparatus and logs.
• Inspect construction activities on heavy highway projects; ensure materials meet specs.
• Monitor work by contractors and vendors; ensure quality and safety on site.
• Complete forms and paperwork for daily construction activities.
