Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications from a State Highway Agency or NICET/ACI if required by client.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Willing to travel 20–40% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex and routine inspections to ensure materials and construction comply with plans and specs.
• Review drawings and prepare for inspections.
• Document inspection results and communicate findings to supervisor.
• Lead and instruct junior inspectors.
• Read and interpret construction plans, provisions and specifications.
