Job summary

Worley is seeking a Senior Field Buyer in the United States to lead procurement activities for engineered equipment, bulk materials, and project services. You will influence procurement strategy, manage supplier relationships, and ensure timely delivery in dynamic construction environments.

The role requires a strong procurement background, experience in complex purchasing, and the ability to collaborate with engineering, construction, and project teams to meet schedules, budgets, and customer

Qualifications

• 7+ years of procurement, purchasing, or commercial experience.
• Proven experience procuring engineered equipment, bulk materials, and project services.
• Experience in EPC/EPCM, industrial, energy, chemicals, resources, infrastructure, manufacturing, or construction environments.
• Strong commercial and negotiating skills with experience managing supplier relationships and contract terms.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex purchasing activities to support project delivery.
• Develop and implement project procurement strategies.
• Identify supply chain risks and mitigation plans.
• Evaluate suppliers and conduct commercial bid analyses.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, and logistics teams.
• Mentor and guide procurement personnel.
