Job summary

Worley is seeking a Buyer to manage purchasing for engineered materials and services on a competitive basis in line with project specs and procurement practices.

You will identify suppliers, evaluate quotations, and coordinate with project teams to ensure timely availability and adherence to schedules. The role emphasizes independent execution, collaboration across disciplines, and continuous improvement of procurement processes.

Qualifications

• A university degree in procurement, supply chain management, business, engineering, or related discipline.
• Typically, five or more years of relevant purchasing or procurement experience.
• Experience identifying suppliers, requesting and evaluating quotations, negotiating terms, and supporting purchasing decisions.

Responsibilities

• Execute purchasing activities for materials, equipment, and services in line with project requirements and company policies.
• Research the supply market, identify potential sources, solicit quotations, and assess supplier capability and risk.
• Review quotations, evaluate pricing and terms, and recommend purchasing decisions that balance cost, quality, and delivery.
• Coordinate purchasing priorities with project teams to align with schedules.
