Kinly is seeking an experienced Senior Field Engineer to support the installation, troubleshooting, testing, and light commissioning of commercial audiovisual systems across Florida. This on‑site role requires independent work, clear customer communication, and collaboration with project teams.
Based in Tampa, FL, the position offers permanent, full-time employment with standard 40‑hour weeks and a salary range of $98,000–$105,000 per year, plus benefits.
Qualifications
- Commercial AV installation and field troubleshooting experience.
- Ability to read AV line drawings and construction drawings.
- Capable of diagnosing AV system issues and isolating faults.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with project teams.
- Must be able to travel to job sites and lift up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Install, terminate, label, test, and troubleshoot commercial AV systems at customer jobsites.
- Read and interpret AV line drawings, signal-flow diagrams, rack elevations, wiring schematics.
- Diagnose system issues and isolate faults in signal, control, audio, video, cabling, or networks.
- Perform light commissioning activities and document results with field reports.
- Coordinate with project teams to resolve issues and maintain progress.
- Provide technical guidance to installers and junior personnel.
- Follow Kinly safety practices and site requirements.
