Takara Bio USA, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Field Applications Support to lead and optimize our field scientific applications team.

You will guide cross-regional strategies, drive voice-of-customer insights to R&D and Marketing, and ensure top-tier support for spatial genomics and single-cell workflows. The role requires a MS/PhD in a related field, 10+ years in field applications, 8+ years in leadership, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

MS/PhD in Molecular Biology or related field.
10+ years field application experience.
8+ years managing a field applications team.
Deep understanding of single cell applications, NGS, and genomic applications.
Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills.
Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Lead the Field Applications Support organization across multiple regions, setting strategy, capacity plans, and service-level objectives.
Lead a voice of customer and continuous improvement program, translating insight into product and process enhancements.
Develop strategies to boost team efficiency and monitor KPIs.
Lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance customer support and support new product launches.
Manage workload, recruit, hire and train Field Applications Scientists.
