Job summary

Singular Genomics is seeking a Senior Scientist on the Bioinformatics team to expand spatial biology offerings. You will design targeted in situ panels, develop analysis pipelines, and build software that enables customers to derive insights from spatial multiomics data.

The role blends computational biology with hands-on development, reports to the Bioinformatics group and collaborates across R&D; remote or hybrid/on-site with quarterly travel to San Diego HQ.

Qualifications

• PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, CS or related field (MS considered with industry experience).
• Experience analyzing spatial transcriptomics or single-cell data.
• Strong Python coding ability and ability to build pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize targeted spatial transcriptomics panels for tissue- and disease-specific applications.
• Develop spatial bioinformatics workflows and analysis pipelines.
• Create automated analysis workflows for repeatable spatial and single-cell analyses.
