Job summary
Clear-Com, an HME company, is seeking an Applications Engineer III to lead on-site commissioning, provide technical training, and support sales and engineering teams across live events, broadcast, and government environments. You will visit customers, run proof-of-concept demos, and resolve complex issues while coordinating with internal teams.
The role demands strong communication, hands-on electronics knowledge, and 4+ years in field engineering.
Qualifications
- US Citizenship preferred with ability to obtain access to secure federal government facilities
- Experience in customer-facing technical roles and field deployments
- Ability to train and transfer knowledge to sales and manufacturing teams
- Strong communication and coordination across internal teams
Responsibilities
- Lead on-site commissioning and installation of new systems and provide post-sale support
- Deliver concept demos and technical notes for sales teams
- Provide product training and develop comprehensive training syllabi
- Collaborate with NPD and QA teams on field feedback and issues
- Travel 40–60% for customer sites and trade shows
