Job summary

Alpha Video & Audio is seeking a Broadcast Field Engineer to design, install, configure and commission complex broadcast and IT systems. You will work with project managers, engineers and technicians to bring systems to completion while ensuring quality and safety standards.

The role requires up to 70% travel, valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma with five years of relevant experience. You will produce commissioning reports and may act as project foreman in some cases.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant experience in broadcast tech or field engineering.
• Strong ability to read CAD drawings, blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork in field environments.
• Knowledge of broadcast AV theory and IP networking; CSI certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uphold Alpha Values and act as a role model for technicians.
• Configure, test and commission broadcast and IT systems across projects.
• Provide commissioning reports and red-lined drawings after installation.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers and installers; train staff and clients.
