Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) in the San Jose area seeks a senior technical engagement lead to direct the FAE team and serve as the trusted technical authority with a strategic Mega Datacenter customer. You will collaborate with sales to drive platform deployments, guide architecture decisions, and support performance tuning across CPU, GPU, and server software ecosystems.

Travel up to 25% domestically; a technical degree is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in CPU and server system architecture, benchmarks, and platform enablement.
• Strong communication and leadership in a customer-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales to drive portfolio expansion and move platforms from evaluation to deployment.
• Lead and develop the FAE team supporting the Mega Datacenter account.
• Influence architecture and implementation decisions for AMD data center technologies.
