Job summary

AMD is seeking a senior technical leader to guide the FAE team supporting a strategic Mega Datacenter customer in the San Jose/SF Bay Area. You will be the technical authority on the account and the manager for the FAE team, accountable to the Field Engineering Director and Sales Team.

You will collaborate across sales, engineering and marketing to drive platform adoption, lead architecture discussions, and deliver engineering support through development, testing, and deployment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a customer-facing engineering team.
• Senior level engineer with customer-facing responsibilities.
• Proven background in server platform architecture and development.
• Knowledge of cloud computing, HPC, networking, data analytics or databases is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the FAE team for the Mega Datacenter account.
• Collaborate with Sales to drive portfolio expansion and volume deployment.
• Influence architecture and implementation of new AMD datacenter systems.
• Provide onsite and remote engineering support through development and debugging.
