Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a Senior Field Applications Engineer to serve as the primary technical interface between customers and internal engineering teams.

This engineering-focused role partners with Sales, Product Management and Engineering to identify customer needs, develop solutions, support new product introductions, and drive design wins from concept through production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years in Field Applications Engineering or similar.
• Strong knowledge of connectors and interconnect systems.
• Experience with CAD tools such as Creo or SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical contact for assigned customer accounts, partnering with sales and engineering.
• Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities through technical leadership.
• Provide design support from concept through qualification and production.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Manufacturing to tailor solutions.
• Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, and design reviews.
