Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Homeowners Property Claims Field Adjuster to conduct investigations, assess coverage and expeditiously settle claims within Florida counties. You will work with policyholders, adjusters, attorneys, vendors, and experts, performing on-site inspections and travel as needed.

The role requires a Florida All-Lines Adjuster license, 3+ years of field adjusting, strong Xactimate skills, and excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Qualifications

• Must hold Florida All-Lines Adjuster License (620).
• 3+ years of homeowner's claims field adjusting experience.
• Proficient with Xactimate and sketching, including mobile apps (iPad).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of property insurance policy and coverage analysis.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prompt and courteous servicing of property claims, including insured and agency contact and follow through
• Communicate and interact with policyholders, public adjusters, attorneys, vendors, and experts to foster timely claim resolution
• Identify, analyze, and resolve coverage issues arising in claims investigation
• Conduct factual investigation of cause of loss
• Determine coverage based on policies and endorsements
• Maintain proper file documentation reflecting progressive claim handling
• Prepare coverage and payment letters necessary to settle and conclude claims
• Conduct on-site inspections of insured properties
• Travel regularly within the assigned territory

Requirements

• Must be able to work under deadlines
• Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Strong skills and experience with Xactimate estimating program
• Candidates must be located within a commutable distance to Lee & Collier Counties in Florida
• Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future
