Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group in California is seeking a Sr. Field Adjuster, Homeowner Claims for San Jose and surrounding areas.

You will investigate and evaluate property loss claims in the field and virtually, photograph damages, determine the scope of repairs, and prepare bids using Xactimate. Under close supervision you will negotiate settlements, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with contractors or Network Repair Program.

Qualifications

• Requires 6+ years related professional experience with transferrable skills.
• 4+ years claims experience with preferred emphasis on homeowner claims.
• Knowledge of Xactimate repair estimating system.
• Knowledge of homeowner policies and procedures.
• A valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and evaluate property loss claims in the field and virtually.
• Photograph and inspect damaged dwellings, structures, and personal property with insured or third parties.
• Determine scope of repairs and prepare a repair bid using Xactimate.
• Negotiate settlements and handle correspondence to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Travel as needed for site inspections and meetings.
