Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking a Sr. Field Adjuster for Homeowner Claims based in Modesto, CA. This remote-first role involves investigating and settling homeowners' property claims with travel to sites as needed, and advancing to a Level 5 competency over time.

You’ll handle moderate-to-high severity claims, inspect properties, estimate repairs with Xactimate, and coordinate with contractors. Requires strong experience, a valid license, and knowledge of homeowner policies.

Qualifications

• Requires 6+ years related professional experience with transferrable skills.
• 4+ years claims experience with preferred emphasis on homeowner claims.
• Knowledge of Xactimate repair estimating system.
• A valid driver’s license and insurable driving record or alternative transportation to safely transport large and/or heavy equipment between sites is required.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and evaluate property loss claims of moderate-high severity in the field and virtually.
• Photograph and inspect damaged dwellings, structures, and personal property with insured or third parties.
• Determine scope of repairs and prepare repair bids using Xactimate.
• Negotiate and settle dwelling or other structure damages after coverage analysis.
• Coordinate with Network Repair Program contractors or insured's contractors when needed.
• Travel as required for role and participate in meetings and onboarding activities.
