Job summary

TE Connectivity in Fairview, NC is seeking an Assembly Operator III for the 2nd shift to work on fiber optic assemblies. You will polish and test cables, terminate configurations, operate a fiber router, and support prototype builds while maintaining quality and traceability.

You will join a team focused on safety, learning, and customer satisfaction with competitive pay and a 10% shift differential. Training completes in 30 days.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 1 year assembly manufacturing experience.
• Experience in fiber optic manufacturing environments preferred.
• Proficient hand-eye dexterity and motor skills for intricate work.

Responsibilities

• Polish and test fiber optic cables.
• Assemble and package fiber optic connector components.
• Terminate single and multi-fiber cables.
• Operate fiber router & complete over-molding process.
• Support prototype product builds and pre-release NPI builds.
• Measure components with calipers, gauges, or other devices.
• Maintain traceability paperwork and quality standards.
