Corning Incorporated in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Carrier Networks Systems Engineer to design fiber optic network solutions for large telecom carriers, supporting pre- and post-sales engagements across FTTx architectures including FTTH, MDUs, and FTTB.

You will lead PON design, BOM development, and collaborate with sales and technical teams to deliver compelling presentations and customer solutions, while guiding design teams through scope to delivery with a strong engineering and

Qualifications

B.S. in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
Proficiency in English, written and verbal.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Fiber optic design experience required.

Responsibilities

Lead passive optical network (PON) design and BOM development for large-scale FTTx deployments.
Partner with sales and commercial teams on customer engagements to deliver technical presentations and pre-/post-sales support.
Develop optimized network design solutions using Corning's fiber optic product portfolio with engineering methods and cost modeling.
Lead design teams of engineers and technicians on complex projects from scoping to delivery.
Publish design practices, technical docs, and customer deliverables translating requirements into clear solutions.
