Job summary

Rightfiber is seeking a Sr. Construction Coordinator - Engineer to lead and coordinate complex engineering and construction activities for Enterprise customers.

You will provide advanced oversight on forecasts, budgets, plans, inspections, and related activities while mentoring the Enterprise Construction team. You will work with internal and external partners to support build activities, supervise contract engineers, prepare drawings, and ensure quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and/or equivalent experience of 5 to 7 years of fiber optic network engineering/construction experience.
• Advanced knowledge of telecommunications construction and engineering practices and principles.
• Advanced knowledge of industry regulations affecting engineering projects.
• Ability to travel for business requirements; must possess a valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complex construction projects within timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Provide training and guidance to team members to grow skills in the department.
• Plan and prepare drawings and staking sheets for new Enterprise customers and rearrangements.
• Ensure compliance with company specifications and file necessary paperwork and staking sheets.
• Monitor project spend and approve or deny changes with contract personnel.
• Prepare progress reports, project status updates, and performance metrics for management.
