Job summary

Adelska, LLC, a Denver-based event strategy and production agency, seeks an experienced Senior Community Event Coordinator to own festivals and public events from kickoff to debrief.

You’ll manage timelines, vendors, permits, budgets, and on-site teams, adapting to changing plans, weather, and client needs while ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This role blends leadership with hands-on problem solving for evening and weekend events.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of professional event planning and production experience.
• Experience producing festivals, community events, outdoor events or large public gatherings.
• Strong organization and proactive communication to keep plans on track.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution for community events, festivals, markets, concerts, and public programs.
• Build and manage event timelines, run of shows, site plans, and budgets.
• Coordinate vendors, entertainment, food/bev, and production partners.
• Work with municipal departments, public safety teams, venues, and partners.
• Manage permitting, site logistics, accessibility, and safety planning.
• Manage event budgets, proposals, contracts, invoices, and expenses.
• Coordinate staffing and lead onsite teams.
• Oversee load-in, live execution, and load-out.
• Anticipate problems and adapt quickly when plans change.
• Support sponsorship activations and revenue generating components.
